I work across Pizza Express, Wagamama, Red’s True BBQ, Gourmet Burger Kitchen and Nando’s within the technical team to support with artwork, creating pack copies and completing internal audits to ensure AAF are working to the highest standards possible and demonstrating compliance with BRCGS.
I studied Food Science & Nutrition BSc at Northumbria University. After my second year I moved to Coventry to complete an industrial placement year with PepsiCo at their Walkers snack food site, to work in their quality and food safety team, where my project work included implementing HoloLens technology to optimise the monitoring, root cause analysis and elimination of pathogens within the factory environment. After completion of university, I moved to Manchester to work with The Hut Group (THG) in their supplier quality assurance team, onboarding and approving new suppliers, specifically dairy, pills and capsules. Qualifications/experience attained from THG; HACCP level 4, BRC lead auditor, internal and external audits, specification creation (Oracle), horizon scanning (VACCP), supplier approval and investigations for complaints and non-confirming product.
What I Love About Working at All About Food
The people are friendly and welcoming. The brands AAF work with are very exciting with a strong reputation of success, making the hard work put in by the people of AAF worthwhile. The office is very cool, and the location is awesome, being in the thriving location of Northern Quarter, surrounded by top tier cafes, bars and restaurants for work socials.
