The role of Commercial Finance Manager is a full-time roles in a new exciting office location based in Central Manchester!
Your Primary Role
- Support and challenge internal partner/s to deliver their budgeted P&L
- Own and manage the annual budgeting cycle (internal and external)
- Build tools and technology and develop ways of working to make sure Reporting, Analysis and Insight in AAF is always fit for purpose
- Build strong relationships with the brand owner to provide financial support in relation to commercial decision-making
- Build strong relationships to be the single point of contact for the Brand and Sales Teams through
- Lead the annual financial forecasting and annual planning of the business
- Produce financial reports to drive insight
- Pro-actively review and analyse business performance versus relevant KPIs and drive action with the Brand and Sales teams
- Manage and drive AAF business performance
- Manage, identify and drive financial opportunities and risks
- In conjunction with our SBAM, ensure all external Brand Owner reporting is communicated on time, in full, no errors
- Help develop the businesses reporting, analytics and insights (RA&I) capability through cross-functional, collaborative working
- Produce ad hoc analysis as required
- Ensure the company is always professionally represented, both inside and outside the business, and ensure legal compliance
- Be an active and vocal member of the Finance team
- Support and assist our Finance Director when required
- Continuously learn and develop skills, knowledge, and experience to fulfil the short- and long-term objectives of the organisation to achieve constantly increasing operational output and standards
