The role of Commercial Placement Internship is a full-time office-based role in an exciting office location based in Central Manchester!
Primary Role
- Support the Commercial Team (Sales/ Brand/ Category Management) with both internal and external administrative requirements. These could include, but are not limited to:
- Promotional planning and account administration
- Debit note processing and tracking
- Range review planning e.g. New Line Form inputs & submission or category recommendations
- Coordination of New Product Development (NPD) documentation
- Execution of Shopper Marketing plans and management of budget
- Submission and approval of artwork via BEAM
- Purchase Order administration
- Customer Brand Day preparations
- Ensuring all monthly data, insight preparation and reporting is completed in full & on time
- The creation of insight to support knowledge and understanding
- Make sure you always operate in line with GSCOP and Competition Law and our Brand Owner Contracts
- Constantly review process and procedure within the role and make recommendations for improvement
- Be an active and vocal member of the team
- Continuously learn and develop skills, knowledge and experience to fulfil the short and long term objectives of the business

Requirements
- Looking for a placement year whilst at university
- Computer literate
- Good communication and influencing skills
- Experience of working within a team environment
- Determination to achieve and willingness to continually learn
- Proven record of demonstrating initiative and delivering results
