We began selling bottles of Nando’s PERi-PERi sauce under the name Nandos Grocery Company. We then expanded into other Nando’s Products and then into other brands and in turn All About Food launched in 2008. Today, as well as Nando’s, our portfolio of brands includes Costa Coffee, PizzaExpress, wagamama, Pret A Manger and others.
The role of Demand Planner is a full-time roles in a new exciting office location based in Central Manchester!
o Drive a consumer centric culture, ensure the consumer is at the heart of everything we do
o Deliver agreed KPI’s
o Drive performance across our business through the creation of insight to support knowledge and understanding
o Challenge assumptions within the business to drive performance through regularly sharing insights
o Support competitor and Eating Out knowledge and understanding across the business in order to anticipate their activities
o Drive the use of this knowledge and understanding to inform both reactive and proactive range, cuisine and category strategies
o Manage our strategic category relationship with relevant internal and external key stakeholders
a. Retailers (range reviews, PIRs, brand days etc)
b. Brand Owners (monthly/quarterly category reviews etc)
c. Brand Team d. Sales Team
o Support the Brand Team with NPD ideation to enable them to develop the Retail Brand Strategy and Annual Operational Plan for their brand/s
o Support the Category Director with the evaluation of new brands in line with the business strategy
o Support the Brand Team to ensure they are equipped to be the consumer champion for their brand(s)
o Support the Brand and Sales teams to manage and execute the annual budgeting and business planning process for their brand(s) and customer(s) with their Finance Business Partner
o Ensure the company is always professionally represented, both inside and outside the business, and ensure legal compliance
o Constantly review process and procedure within the role and make recommendations for improvement
o Be an active and vocal member of the Category and the wider team
o Continuously learn and develop skills, knowledge and experience to fulfill the short and long term objectives of the organisation to achieve constantly increasing operational output and standards
