All About Alastair

Hi! I’m Alastair and I am the Sales Director for Coffee at All About Food. I live near Macclesfield with my wife and 3 children and that certainly keeps me busy whilst not at work. I love to play sport, although spend more time watching it these days!

Experience

I worked at Kellogg’s for many years and it was a great company to work for. I had numerous opportunities and worked in most functions within Sales and enjoyed a 3.5 year stint in Ireland working in our European Head Office, focused on developing our Middle East and Russian business. I moved to All About Food as UK Sales Director and, as our business has grown and developed, now focus on Coffee, responsible for our UK customer base.

What I Love About Working at All About Food

I am passionate about the retail environment and growing businesses from a small base and I love seeing the work we do come to life in store delighting customers, shoppers and consumers! Working at AAF requires teamwork, hard work and a robustness & resilience that comes from being an SME trying to take on huge businesses in very competitive categories. I often compare it to being on a yacht in a round the world yacht race, and that is something I would very much like to participate in!
