Here’s a bit of late news left over from Christmas but definitely worth sharing… Inspired by wanting to support the great work of Claire HouseSam created the most wonderful Gingerbread House to raffle at The Tree House and, in the spirit of sharing, we asked our neighbours in Maple Court to buy raffle tickets too.

So, along with sales of the gingerbread biscuits – for those of us who wanted an instant hit of baking goodness – the grand sum raised (drumroll please!) was: £643.50 which we’re delighted be donating to Claire House!!

Sam wrapped up her announcement of the grand total with the following:

“The very lucky winner of the gingerbread house was Sandra from NFU Mutual (our next-door neighbours) Sorry to everyone who didn’t win, but there’s always next year! (Or maybe Easter?!)

Most importantly I would like to thank everyone for your incredibly generous raffle and biscuit buying, I am always overwhelmed with what we achieve when the foodies come together to raise money for people who need our help 🙂 Thank you all again, this completely smashed my expectations!”

Thank you Sam…. looking forward to Easter already!
